THE TRAINING DEDICATED TO THE PECULIARITIES OF WORKING WITH THE SHC “AICEM” WAS HELD (KYIV, DECEMBER 15, 2021)

On December 15, 2021, SSI “Institute of Educational Analytics” conducted training for the specialists of the State Service for Education Quality of Ukraine (SSEQ) on the specific peculiarities of working with the software and hardware complex “Automated Information Complex of Educational Management” (SHC “AICEM”).

Opening the event, the Director of the Institute Sergiy Londar (Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor) congratulated the representatives of the SSEQ and outlined the principal vectors of activity, among which priority is given to information and analytical support for the work of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The SSI “Institute of Educational Analytics” collects educational information on an ongoing basis for the creation of educational statistics in general secondary education, as well as preschool and out-of-school education. The MySQL databases and two information systems of the national level such as the AS IRC and SHC AICEM are used for gathering, processing and storage statistical data. In particular, within the framework of the training, the participants got acquainted with the AICOM information system.

The Deputy Director for Scientific-Project Work and IT Andrii Lytvynchuk (Ph.D.) and the Head of the Education Information Systems Administration Department Andriy Kiryanov focused on the practical aspects of obtaining statistical data from the SHC AIСEM. During the training, the structure of data export files, features of creating the database sampling, approaches to operating large arrays of educational data for preschool and secondary education were considered. Andrii Lytvynchuk demonstrated the above-mentioned approaches in the format of live dialogue and master-classes.

On behalf of his colleagues, the Director of the Accreditation and Monitoring Department of the State Service for Education Quality Ivan Yuriychuk thanked for the opportunity to improve the level of professional competence of the SSEQ staff regarding analytical knowledge and principles of working with the reporting database of ZNZ-1, 83-RVC, 1-ZSO, 85-K, which are in demand during the audit of educational institutions.

In conclusion, the organizers and participants of the training confirmed their readiness to deepen cooperation and outlined the topics of the next meetings.
