The third meeting of the “Skills4Justice” project partners took place (Bremen, Germany, 16-17 September 2024)
On 16 and 17 September 2024, the third meeting of the partners of the “Skills Partnerships for Sustainable and Just Migration Patterns” (Skills4Justice) project took place at the Institute for Technology and Education of the University of Bremen (Germany). The meeting focused on discussing the progress and interim results of the research activities related to the development of models for the matching of skills in destination and origin countries (WP 2 and 3), as well as the initial preparations for the planned survey of labour migrants in 2025 (WP 4).
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the SSI “Institute of Educational Analytics”, namely the Director of the Institute, Andrii Lytvynchuk, and the Coordinator of the Ukrainian project team, Serhii Melnyk. Among other things, they:
- presented a report on the fulfilment of WP 3 tasks by the SSI “Institute of Educational Analytics” within the project “Skills Partnerships for Sustainable and Just Patterns” (Skills4Justice) No. 101132435;
- discussed the questions raised by the French, Norwegian, German and Italian representatives;
- acquainted the partners with the content and structure of the National Report on the results of the study of the labour market and the market for educational services in Ukraine and the impact of migration processes on them;
- formulated proposals for the preparation of joint scientific articles with partners, participation in scientific conferences and research in 2025.
With the participation of representatives of the Ukrainian delegation, the meeting also focused on the consequences of military conflicts and natural disasters that lead to forced emigration, as well as ways to develop the skills of forced migrants in the field of employment.
The next steps for the implementation of the Skills4Justice project in 2025 were also discussed.
