download exampleAccording to the Trust Fund for Statistical Capacity Building III (TFSCB III: TF070561), Ukraine was granted financial assistance (hereafter – Grant) from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) to implement the project entitled “Strengthening Evidence-Based Policymaking with Education Statistics and Analysis”.
The project was successfully implemented by the SSI “Institute of Educational Analytics” (SSI “IEA”) with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MESU) over the period 2016-2019.
The project was comprised of three components, as follows:
- Component 1. Development of an integrated Education Management Information System (EMIS);
- Component 2. Preparation for participation in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA);
- Component 3. Institutional capacity building
The implementation of the Grant was regulated by the TFSCB Grant No. TF0A4096 and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 15 February 2002 No. 153 “On creation of the unified system of attracting, using and monitoring international technical assistance” and other legal acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Orders of the SSI “IEA” and the MESU.

The independent auditor BDO LLC has audited the financial statements of the project “Strengthening Evidence-Based Policymaking with Education Statistics and Analysis” (Grant No. TF0A4096) for the period from 24 January 2017 to 31 December 2018.
In particular, the auditor’s report states that the financial statements provide an accurate and faithful representation of the project’s financial status, as well as a summary of sources and uses of the
Grant No. TF0A4096 according to the IBRD rules and meet international standards.
