PARTICIPATION IN THE MEETING ON THE RESULTS OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENTS OF THE OBLAST ADMINISTRATIONS: FORMAT OF THE TV-STUDIO “EDUCATIONAL CHANNEL 2021” (KYIV, DECEMBER 24, 2021)
On December 24, 2021, the Ministry of Education and Science held a final event of the year in the format of the TV studio “Educational Channel 2021”, dedicated to summarizing the work in 2021 and outlining the prospects for the development of the education sector in 2022. The event was chaired by the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet. The heads of scientific organizations, the deputy heads of the Regional and Municipal Kyiv Administrations, the heads of the Regional Departments of Education and Science, and the heads of institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education were among the participants.
The SSI “Institute of Educational Analytics” was represented by the Director of the Institute Sergiy Londar (Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor) and the Deputy Director for Scientific-Project Work and IT Andrii Lytvynchuk (Ph.D.)
During his speech, Sergiy Londar focused on Solid Info as the latest system of management educational indicators and an information innovation aimed at strengthening the interaction of the Ministry of Education and Science with the regions. It is an effective tool to stimulate education development in Ukraine. “There are many statistical educational indicators. As a result, the Solid info indicators are designed to represent the key features of the education process at the regional and the country levels to be able to quickly identify the issues of the educational network, to prioritize the areas of efforts of the managers for the educational development of the regions” – Sergiy Londar said. More details on the method of calculating and using the Solid Info indicators can be found in the Methodology manual for calculating the values and methods of using the Solid Info management information indicators of educational development, approved by the Academic Council of the SSI ” Institute of Educational Analytics”. It will be published on the Open Data Portal at the beginning of 2022.
At the conclusion, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Vira Rogova identified the main vectors of development of the education system of Ukraine and summed up the meeting.
