Ukraine received financial assistance (hereafter Grant) from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), acting as administrator of grant funds provided by various donors within the Trust Fund for Statistical Capacity Building III (TFSCB–III:TF070561) for the “Strengthening Evidence-Based Policymaking with Education Statistics and Analytics” Project (hereafter Project). The Grant consists of the following three components:
- Component 1. Development of an integrated Education Management Information System EMIS;
- Component 2. Preparation for participation in the Programme for International Student Assessment PISA;
- Component 3. Institutional capacity building
The project is implemented by the State Scientific Institution “Institute of Educational Analytics” (SSI “IEA”) with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MES). Grant implementation is regulated by the supporting documents of the TFSCB Grant No. TF0A4096 and by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of February 15th, 2002 No. 153 “On creation of the unified system of attracting, usage and monitoring of the international technical assistance” and other legal acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Orders of the SSI “IEA” and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
